April News

April 2010,

Our riders stood out during the last event of the Canadian Snowboard Tour . Nationals took place in Tremblant and Stoneham.  All of our riders participated in both halfpipe and slopestyle. No podiums but lots of great performances.

Our younger riders had the chance to shine during the Burton mini Machine at Trembalnt. here are the results:

13-15 age category
Justin DeCastris: 3rd place
Antoine Schlichtig: 5th place
William Boisjoli: 6th place
Joel Massariol: 10th place

Remi Hugue finished 5th in the 12 and under category. Let's not forget that he is only 9 years old. Wow!

After came the most anticipated snowboard event of the season in Quebec. The Ride Shakedown. 2 of our younger riders competed in the Open Qualifier held on the Friday. Even with a fantastic performance, it wasn't enough for Sebastien Leclair and Nicolas Palfreeman to move on to the semi finals. An opportunity presented itself and our 2 riders jumped on it. They were asked to ride during the semi finals and finals dressed in blue overalls for a publicity stunt for 33 Mag. They really impressed the gallery.  Inconvenienced by a shoulder injury, Charles Reid still gave a terrific performance.

Our season ends under the hot sun at Mont-Avila. We made a funny video "How to" and posted it to our Vimeo page. Check it out.

Training in Whistler interests you? There are still a few spots available. But act quickly, we are limiting the amount of riders this year. We are leaving from June 30th till July 15th. Contact us for more information.

A wonderful season ends and another will start soon. We would like to thank our fantastic team for making us very proud of all their hard work and perseverance.  We would like to congratulate all of our riders for their accomplishments. We had lots of fun.
